Well, I would say the first step would be to go to their website instead of a wholesale pyrotechnics site.

Then again, and this is just a hunch, perhaps chemistry is not right for you....

The Auto Q'er no longer splits a rack of shells between 2 rails when shells are placed in a long stretch one at a time. They are consolodated and moved to the next rail. Never thought I would solve that problem, was a lot easier than I thought.
The rack setup report also now lists the q's next to each rack emplacement too. I guess I can see how that would come in handy.... |

Recentlly added the ability to auto que an electrically fired show. Just enter the number of ques per rail and make sure you indicate the rack arrangement in the comment field on the invoice and goodbye hours spent counting q's in your head.
The rack arrangements can be set by having one of the following symbols in the begining of your comment field: \ or / for angled left or right | or || or (blank) for straight up racks \/ or V for firing shells left and right W or \|/ or \||/ for firing left, right, and straght up simultaneously. The reason you need to enter the comment fields for Q'ing is that it indicates how many shells are firing together as one q. Also entering these comments allows the system to output a rack setup blueprint. If you have 6 shells firing in a V, you know that it will take 3 Q's to fire them. If in a \|/ then it would only take 2 q's. The software automatically moves groups of shells from one rail to another if there is not enough space left on the current rail, and leaves empty q's strategically for shooters to put notes on their firing boards. |

Well, you might send them a customer satisfaction survey as part of a "Quality Assurance" initiative, and give them room to add their own thoughts or suggestions. That way you are inviting them to be truthfull and how could a person be offended at that? I would let them know that their response might be reprinted, or have a checkbox they could check asking them if they minded.

We just finished the project and the client is happy with our work. How do we solicit praise for a job well done without offending the client?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independence_Day_(United_States) Found this article on Wiki, aperantly America became legally separated from Great Britain on July 2nd, 1776. John Adams had this to say in a letter to his wife written on the 3rd of July 1776: " The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more." |

Today we tested how far a 6 inch shell will travel when shot from a rack on its side. It was a special made shell, with sand to simulate the weight of stars and flags that are ejected when the shell bursts to indicate where the shell exploded. Kind of made me feel like I was on an old-timey battlefield with cannons fired at the enemy, or on an over-sized golf course. Even with just a tiny angle separating the rack from being perfectly horizontal, the shell traveled 725 feet before bursting and attained a significant altitude (maybe 50-100 feet). Looked like the shell burst right when it hit the ground, so who knows how far it would have traveled if it was a dud and rolling. More tests are planned, some of them we will try at our 4-17-10 certification class.

Have you received a number of bids for your fireworks show from competing fireworks companies and now wonder how you will choose between them? The solution is to take advantage of the knowlege of industry insider Aaron Mayfield, who will separate the pros from the cons for a small fee. He will explain why the bid with the highest shell count for the money will not always be the best show, and which brands of effects are worth the money. Please email aaron@ampyro.com for details.
